School Accountability and Policy Learning across Education Systems in an Era of International Comparison, University of Oslo.
Gita Steiner-Khamsi, Director at NORRAG and professor at Teachers College, Columbia University and the Graduate Institute, Geneva, participated in the “School Accountability and Policy Learning across Education Systems in an Era of International Comparison” seminar in Oslo on 12 March 2018. The event featured presentations on two ongoing research projects: “Policy Knowledge and Lesson Drawing in Nordic School Reform in an Era of International Cooperation”, presented by Professor Steiner-Khamsi with elaboration from the research team, and “Reforming Schools Globally: A Multiscalar Analysis of Autonomy and Accountability Policies in the Education Sector”, presented by Antoni Verger of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The seminar was organized by the Curriculum Studies, Leadership and Educational Governance (CLEG) research group of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the University of Oslo.
