16 November 2021: RECI Thematic Day 2021 - Education beyond the pandemic
Join RECI in the Thematic Day 2021 on 16 November 2021 at 9 am.
The Thematic day will offer participants the opportunity to better understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on global education. A panel discussion will open the conversation on key lessons learned from the pandemic with regards to the future of education, with contributions from UNESCO, SDC (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation), EDK (Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education) and Ministry of Policies and Development of Education, Sports and Youth from Albania.
The panel will be followed by six workshops, during which participants will dive into concrete experiences form different countries and subject areas. Participants will also discuss challenges and best practices to ensure continued access to learning and draw considerations for planning and implementing more crisis-resilient education activities.
There will be the possibility to choose between workshops in French, German and English. The Thematic day will be hybrid, with the possibility to participate on site in Bern or online. The exact format and modalities can be found on their website.
