18-19 January 2018: CREAN Conference: The impact of children’s rights education and research on policy development
Joost Monks, Executive Director of NORRAG will participate and speak at the bi-annual conference organised by the Children´s Rights European Academic Network (CREAN) on 18-19 January in Geneva. The conference aims to carry on the dialogue on the role and impact of children’s rights education and research on policy development between academia and policy-makers. The event is opened to CREAN members and to policy-makers, staff members of NGOs, international organizations, researchers and teachers who work on themes related to childhood, children’s rights, human rights studies and cognate academic fields. NORRAG’s Dr Monks is expected to speak on NORRAG’s network experiences with the dissemination and brokering of knowledge in the field of international education policies as part of a discussion on 18 January on the strategies used to making research known and to have access to research.
