Open for applications: University of Toronto International Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy
The University of Toronto’s new International Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy (IELP) is now accepting applications. UoT’s Faculty of Education, the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) is a research-intensive faculty of education, ranked # 7 worldwide. Karen Mundy will be the faculty lead for the program, which includes faculty with wide-ranging international expertise and research on education policy and reform.
The IELP EdD cohort-based program is aimed at mid-career professionals working as educational leaders and policymakers in international organizations, governmental and non-governmental settings. It will be delivered through online and face-to-face modalities. Each year will begin with a two-week intensive Research Institute held at the University of Toronto campus. The program culminates in a professionally oriented “dissertation in practice”. The IELP can be completed in 3 to 4 years.
The first cohort will start in September 2020.
