NORRAG book featured at the Book and Podcast Festival of the Geneva Graduate Institute

The book Systems Thinking in International Education and Development: Unlocking Learning for All? was featured at the Geneva Graduate Institute’s Book and Podcast festival on Friday 8 March 2024. This second edition of the festival highlighted books and podcasts that contribute to tackling the complexity of contemporary challenges.

On the second day, the fourth book of the NORRAG series on International Education and Development, was displayed in the Salon Davis, in the Library. This book, edited by Moira V. Faul and Laura Savage, underlines the urgency, scale and complexity of the crisis of declining student learning trajectories despite significant financial investments and reform efforts and proposes systems thinking as a way of understanding the global education crisis and driving the real change that is needed to achieve SDG4.

About the Book and Podcast festival

VOICES IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

This Geneva Graduate Institute’s festival highlights books and podcasts that contribute to tackling the complexity of contemporary challenges.

The second edition of this festival promotes in-house books and podcasts published in 2023, highlighting the research carried out at the Institute. The aim is also to make this event a reflection on the way in which academic productions contribute to addressing the complexity of transdisciplinary subjects. This year, the focus will be on how art – and photography in particular – and research feed off each other, with special collaboration from students.
