Transformative education extends beyond simple knowledge transmission. It challenges learners to embark on a journey of critical reflection and societal awareness. This approach lies at the heart of this year’s Global Action Week for Education (GAWE) by the Global Campaign for Education (GCE), taking place from April 22nd to 28th.
As part of GAWE, RECI will once again be hosting a webinar in partnership with Global Campaign for Education. RECI member Graines de Paix will be facilitating an exchange on the topic, focusing on essential attitudes for transformative education. What attitudes do educators need to create a learning environment conducive to critical thinking, self-expression, and social action?
We will also be welcoming a special guest Cecilia Soriano, GCE Campaign Manager, who will give an overview of Global Action Week for Education.

L’éducation transformatrice va au-delà de la simple transmission de connaissances. Elle invite les apprenant·es à entreprendre un voyage de réflexion critique et de sensibilisation à la société. Cette approche est au cœur de la Semaine mondiale d’action pour l’éducation (SAME) 2014 de la Campagne mondiale pour l’éducation (CME), qui aura lieu du 22 au 28 avril.
Dans le cadre du SAME, RECI organisera à nouveau un webinaire en partenariat avec la Campagne Mondiale pour l’Education. Notre membre Graines de Paix, facilitera un échange sur le sujet, mettant l’accent sur les postures éducatives essentielles pour une éducation transformatrice. Quelles postures les éducateur·trices doivent-ils adopter pour créer un environnement d’apprentissage propice à la réflexion critique, à l’expression de soi et à l’action sociale ?
Nous accueillerons également une invitée spéciale, Cecilia Soriano, chargée de campagne à la CME, qui donnera un aperçu de la Semaine mondiale d’action pour l’éducation.
