Brad Olsen, Senior Fellow, Global Economy and Development, Center for Universal Education at Brookings published on the Brookings blog Education and Development a new post titled “Minding the gap: The disconnect between government bureaucracies and cultures of innovation in scaling”. The post is part of a series examining big research questions related to the scaling process in education. Brad Olsen’s post especially looks at the culture gap between bureaucracies tasks with rolling out and adopting innovations and the culture of implementing them. This culture clash, he says, becomes a central barrier to education innovations being adopted at scale.
