Call for Participation: International Survey of Climate Change Communication and Education Organizations
The team at the Center for Sustainable Futures (Teachers College, Columbia University) is conducting the first-ever International Survey of Climate Change Communication and Education Organisations. The survey includes NGOs, community based organisations, higher education institutions, governmental agencies, museums and parks. While there is a growing recognition of the importance of communication and education in addressing climate change, we know very little about what organisations are doing, how their practices vary by social context, and to what extent these organisations are interconnected to each other.
The survey will be the first international survey to give voice to this category of frontline organisations during a critical inflection point for policy and practice. So far the team identified 3000 organisations worldwide, and about 350 of them completed the survey.
Any questions about the study can be directed to Principal Investigator Oren Pizmony-Levy (op2183@tc.columbia.edu) and Project Manager Erika Kessler (elk2144@tc.columbia.edu)
