KIX EMAP at ROSIE 2024 Conference

The KIX EMAP Hub, represented by Allison Vas (Outreach and Partnerships Specialist), participated in the ROSIE 2024 Conference to launch a Global Scaling Learning Community. The Research on Scaling the Impact of Innovations in Education (ROSIE) project is led by the Brookings Institution’s Centre for Universal Education (CUE) as part of GPE KIX. The conference was held in Nairobi, Kenya from 10-12 December 2024. 

The three-day convening brought together 43 new GPE KIX applied research projects, working in 50 GPE countries, as well as representatives from KIX hubs and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) to build relationships, share knowledge and reflect on what it takes to research scaling impact within education systems.

Amidst the discussions and workshops, the KIX EMAP Hub representative had the opportunity to meet with team representatives for the new KIX research projects in the EMAP region. The convening was a chance to learn about one another’s work and identify pathways for collaboration. The relationships formed lay the foundation for strong partnerships in the years ahead.
