The KIX EMAP Knowledge Cafés bring together sub-regional experts for an informal and collaborative conversation, designed to foster open dialogue and knowledge exchange on topics of mutual interest. They are planned as recurring bi-monthly events.
The Knowledge Café events are facilitated by the sub-region’s Knowledge Lead. They are structured in a way that allows everyone to participate and contribute their insights. Participants are encouraged to enjoy their coffees in an informal online setting and share short updates about their work, research, projects, proposals for funding, partnerships, conferences, networking and more.
The SAMENA Knowledge Café is planned as a recurring bi-monthly event on the second Thursday of the month, from 12:30-13:30 (CET/your time zone here), facilitated by SAMENA’s Knowledge Lead Rasha Sharaf. These meetings will be primarily conducted in English, with simultaneous interpretation into Arabic.
If you are interested in participating, please register and add the event to your online calendar for the local time adjustment. Meetings will be hosted on Zoom, with this one-time registration for access to all reoccurring sessions. Padlet will be used to manage those who wish to contribute to the Knowledge Café (sign up here). Alternatively, join the bi-monthly live stream on Facebook.
