NORRAG contributes to launch of INEE Reference Group on EiE Data

NORRAG has contributed to the developments of the recently launched INEE Reference Group on EiE Data. The Reference Group is one of the outcomes of the work of the INEE Data and Evidence Collaborative – co-chaired by FHI 360 and NORRAG. The creation of this reference group followed recommendations made in the 2019 EiE INEE Data Summit Action Agenda and enables data experts from a range of organisations to collaborate on systemic EiE data issues that exist within and between their organisations. The INEE Reference Group on EiE Data has five workstreams:

1. Global Data Reporting.
2. Data Sharing, Analysis, and Use.
3. Strengthening Joint Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Towards Collective Outcomes in EiE Data Standards.
4. Centering National and Local Voices in EiE Research.
5. Data Collection.

Together with UNESCO, NORRAG is co-chairing Workstream 2 on Data Sharing, Analysis and Use. Members from workstream 2 have been discussing a collaborative workplan towards mapping of data needs and identification of common data-sharing platforms, development of common tools and recommendations for data sharing, and capacity strengthening and advocacy.
