OHCHR Knowledge Hub Needs Assessment Questionnaire

Human Rights Council resolution 54/22 on “Promoting and protecting economic, social and cultural rights within the context of addressing inequalities” mandated the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) to establish a Knowledge Hub at headquarters. In the context of addressing inequalities, the Knowledge Hub is to be dedicated to technical assistance and capacity-building, the consolidation of promising practices and know-how in promoting and protecting economic, social and cultural rights. The Knowledge Hub is key part of the ongoing efforts at OHCHR to enhance its capacity in the field of economic, social and cultural rights. The Knowledge Hub will be made available to Member States and other relevant stakeholders in a user-friendly manner.

In order to inform the design of a Knowledge Hub that responds to the needs and expectations of its users and inspires engagement and action, OHCHR developed a questionnaire and distributed it to Member States and other relevant stakeholders, such as National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs), United Nations staff, civil society organizations, and Academia. All relevant stakeholders can complete the questionnaire. All responses will be treated in a confidential manner by OHCHR and the aggregate results will be used in the development of the Knowledge Hub.

The questionnaire is available in Spanish, English, French and Chinese and can be filled out until 17 August 2024 (deadline extended).

Thank you in advance for completing the survey and for disseminating this invitation to complete the survey widely among your networks.
