OHCHR - New Report on the Right to Participate in Science
We are glad to share with you the latest report of the Special Rapporteur in the field of cultural rights, Ms. Alexandra Xanthaki, which focuses on “The right to participate in science”.
Additionally, Dr. Moira V. Faul, Executive Director of NORRAG, participated in an expert consultation meeting.
The report is not yet available in all UN languages, but will be posted on this page, under the number A/HRC/55/44. It will also be available on the website of the mandate. All submissions received and further information on the report are published on the report page.
The Special Rapporteur will be presenting her reports to UN Human Rights Council this week, on Thursday 7 March, tentatively at 11:45 am, Geneva time. All who wish to follow the interactive dialogue live can do so by accessing the webcast.
The Special Rapporteur will also discuss some of the findings of her report at a Side Event, organised with the Permanent Mission of Greece on Monday 11 March, 4:00 pm, in room XXV.
