Teaching professional development in times of COVID: opportunities from innovation

On 21st April 2021, the Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX) Latin-America and the Caribbean (LAC) organised its first international conference. The topic of the conference was “Teaching professional development in times of COVID: opportunities from innovation” and areas of discussion included:

1. Introduction and update on the main global and regional initiatives on Teacher Professional Development.
2. The national experience of some KIX LAC countries, in the voice of their Ministers of Education.
3. Conference by Dr. Michael Fullan who will present the challenges of teacher professional development based on his experience working on the New Pedagogies for Deep Learning.
