The Education Collaborative June Convening 2023
In 2017, Ashesi University started the Education Collaborative initiative. The initiative leads a collaborative of Higher Learning Institutions in Africa to collectively and sustainably raise the bar for higher education outcomes. Built on the values of collaboration, ethics, leadership, and community, the Education Collaborative prioritizes providing the mentorship, support, and funding that higher education institutions will need to build lasting systems as centers of excellence on the continent.
Every year, the initiative organises a convenming to engage, learn and network around a comon theme. At this year’s Convening, we will be consolidating learnings as we mark the climax to a three-year running theme, “Building the capacity of institutions to improve African higher-ed outcomes.” Since 2020, institutions and partners in the network have designed, shared, and implemented innovations and models around entrepreneurship, ethics and leadership, employability, and faculty development. We cannot wait for you to join us in Accra from 13 – 16 June 2023 as we learn from the outcomes and experiences, and share innovations and best practices in the higher-ed sector.
