Upcoming NORRAG Special Issue
In January 2018, NORRAG will launch the first volume of NORRAG Special Issue (NSI). NSI aims to further decentralize NORRAG’s knowledge production by increasingly promoting and engaging NORRAG members from the South. This volume of NSI will be dedicated to the global Right to Education (RTE) movement, examining the challenges with policy and practice. While the experiences in India, South Africa, and Brazil will be presented in greater details, the volume also includes chapters on RTE in general as well as experiences from other countries. Guest editors, Dr. Archana Mehendale and Dr. Rahul Mukhopadhyay, distinguished education scholars based in India, are developing this first volume of NSI which will contain more than 30 contributions from academic researchers, UN organizations, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, and policy makers.
